EDIT. I'm still very proud of this picture, but I always found mess ups and a lot of out-of-line coloring when I look at it. I got rid of as much of the out-of-line stuff as I could, fixed up Bowser's fire, and edited some shading.


WOW. I miss playing this game SO much! This is still one of my all time favorite Mario boss battles. The end of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, where you fight Big Baby Bowser. The theme music alone pretty much pumps you up, then Bowser has to go and be all epic and huge and stuff lolz :iconepiclaplz:

I've been working on this picture on and off since October 20th with any spare time I could find. I am extremely proud of this picture, especially considering I've never drawn any of these characters before. I hope y'all enjoy it~!

Oh God. I remember when I had to fight Baby Bowser. The music goes slow at first, then it builds up into this AWESOME rock themed boss music that never seems to get old. I've played every single Yoshi's Island game {Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the SNES and Yoshi's Island DS}. I can't wait for the brand new track in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to arrive this Spring that's based on the 1999 video game!


PS: When I saw the trailer for the Nintendo Direct for Mario Kart 8, all I could do was scream in excitement like Dad from Fairly Oddparents, because that was my actual reaction to the new Yoshi's Island race track!
